fuzzy logic
  • A form of logic which evaluates degrees of truthfulness, as opposed to simply categorizing as completely true or completely false. Instead of only using 0 and 1 as the logic values, it consists of variables that can assume any value from 0 to 1. Fuzzy logic is well adapted for dealing with uncertain and/or incomplete data, and for problems with multiple solutions. Used, for instance, in artificial intelligence applications.
